Leeds ‘set to make £3m loan offer for Hull’s Jarrod Bowen which could rise to £15m deal if they get promoted’

  • Leeds are looking to strengthen their attacking options for their promotion push
  • Jarrod Bowen has scored 17 goals in 29 appearances for Hull City so far this term
  • Leeds sit second in the Championship – one point off league leaders West Brom

Leeds United are looking to bolster their bid for Premier League promotion with a move for Hull City forward Jarrod Bowen.

According to the Sun, Leeds are willing to pay a £3million loan fee for the 23-year-old from their Championship rivals.

And the price could quintuple-fold to £15m if Leeds secure promotion.

Jarrod Bowen is ‘wanted by Leeds United who are seeking to make an initial £3m loan offer’

Marcelo Bielsa’s side currently sit second in the Championship, a point behind West Brom but with a six-point cushion over third-placed Brentford.

Bielsa has seen his squad weakened in the attacking areas with loanees Eddie Nketiah and Jack Clarke recalled by Arsenal and Tottenham respectively.

Hull value Bowen at £20m but that price tag has put off potential suitors with Premier League side Newcastle among them.

Bowen has scored 17 goals in 29 appearances for the Tigers so far this season. His contract expires at the end of this season, but Hull can exercise a clause in his deal to keep him for another term.

If Leeds won Premier League promotion then they would make the deal permanent at £15m
