Harry Kane has stepped up his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury as he returned to the pitches of Tottenham‘s training ground.

The England captain is on the slow road back to fitness after rupturing a tendon during the New Year’s Day defeat at Southampton.

He underwent a personal session at Tottenham’s Enfield HQ on Monday, posting an Instagram video of himself completing shuttle runs and weaving in and out of cones.

He took part in sharp passing drills during the 15 minutes of Tottenham’s training session that was open to the media prior to their Champions League trip to Germany.

Jose Mourinho’s team must overcome a 1-0 deficit against RB Leipzig in order to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Leipzig confirmed that Tuesday night’s fixture will take place as normal, as fans permitted to attend, despite fears about spreading coronavirus.
